Your Website Going Global? Do You Speak The Language?

Your Website Going Global? Do You Speak The Language?

The Internet gives you the unique opportunity to speak to a global audience. Are you qualified?

Optimize your website’s languages and take advantage of a global audience’s enormous potential for your business!
The Internet gives you the unique opportunity to speak to a global audience. Are you qualified?

The European Union conducted a study that shows that more than half EU Internet surfers use foreign languages when online! Having also in mind that half of the internet’s websites are written in English, then, if you wish to reach the biggest possible audience, your website should be first written in English.

Your native language (or your brand’s local language) is good to be added and generally, if you wish to target specific audiences then you should also add their spoken languages too. But as you can see, you can’t be using the internet ‘’highway’’ on foot. Get a proper vehicle and give yourself a big ride. Each additional language you use will greatly increase your reach and the potential of your business!

The domination of English is of course, as of today; it seems that the internet scenery is rapidly changing and especially when it comes to languages. Note that the majority of internet users, almost 27%, speak English and around 25% speak Chinese. We would suggest that you should start thinking about your website written in Chinese too very soon!

Also, regarding the online sales, as shown in the study mentioned above, 90% of the EU internet users prefer websites in their own language, however, 44% of them feel they are missing interesting information because web pages are not in a language that they understand and only 18% buy products online in a foreign language!

Bottom line, the English language plus your native (if different) are a MUST for your website. Chinese on the other hand, would be a good investment for your future.  :)

If you wish to go global our platform can support as many languages as you wish! Just ask!  ;)
